Getting Started

Basics of setting up and using ZEON

Click the 'Invite Bot' button on our homepage or use the invite link in the navigation. You need 'Manage Server' permission on the target server. Once authorized, ZEON joins instantly and is ready to use with the default prefix.

The default prefix is '.' (dot). Only the server owner can change it. Use '.prefix set <new_prefix>' to set a new one, '.prefix add <prefix>' to add additional prefixes, or '.prefix reset' to restore the default. Use '.prefix show' to see all active prefixes.

Use '.help' to see every command category, or '.help <command>' for detailed usage of a specific command. You can also browse the full command list on the Commands page of this website.

Yes. ZEON supports both traditional prefix commands and Discord's native slash commands. Type '/' in any channel where ZEON is present to browse the full slash command tree.

ZEON uses a strict trust-based hierarchy: Server Owner → Extra Owners → Trusted Admins → Admins → Moderators. Each level has specific abilities and bypass rules. Higher-level users cannot be moderated by lower-level users.

Security & Antinuke

Server protection, antinuke, and panic mode

Antinuke is ZEON's core security engine. It monitors all destructive admin actions — mass bans, channel deletions, role removals, webhook spam, permission overrides — and automatically reverses them while punishing the attacker. It operates in real-time with configurable thresholds and punishment types.

ZEON offers filters for: Anti Ban, Anti Kick, Anti Channel Create/Delete/Update, Anti Role Create/Delete/Update, Anti Webhook Create/Delete, Anti Member Update, Anti Server Update, Anti Emoji Delete, Anti Sticker Delete, Anti Integration, and Anti Prune. Each filter has independent thresholds and punishment settings.

Use the antinuke whitelist commands to add trusted users who won't trigger protections. Be cautious — the whitelisting system also tracks betrayal. If a whitelisted user performs malicious actions beyond set thresholds, they are automatically punished and flagged.

Panic Mode is an emergency lockdown protocol. When activated, it instantly locks every channel, strips dangerous permissions from all roles, and blocks new member joins. It is designed as a last-resort response to an active raid or nuke attempt.

Quarantine isolates suspicious accounts automatically. When an account triggers security heuristics (e.g. new account age, rapid actions), it is placed in quarantine — stripped of all roles and given a quarantine role with zero permissions — until a moderator reviews and releases them.

Main Roles are roles that ZEON tracks and protects. If a nuke attempt removes or modifies these roles, ZEON will automatically restore them. This prevents attackers from stripping your moderator and admin role structure.

Automod

Automated content filtering and moderation

Use the automod configuration commands to enable filters. Each filter (anti-link, anti-invite, anti-spam, anti-caps, anti-mention, anti-emojis, NSFW scanning) can be toggled independently with configurable punishment types (warn, mute, kick, ban) and thresholds.

ZEON provides: Anti Links, Anti Invites, Anti Spam, Anti Mass Mentions, Anti Caps, Anti Emojis, Anti NSFW Images (via AI scanning), and Blacklisted Words. Each filter works independently and supports bypass roles.

Use the blacklist commands to add custom words or phrases. ZEON supports exact match, wildcard matching, and regex patterns. Messages containing blacklisted content are automatically deleted and the user is punished based on your configured settings.

Modules & Features

Welcome messages, logging, giveaways, and more

Use the greet module commands to configure a welcome channel and message. ZEON supports full embed customization with variables like {user}, {server}, {membercount}. You can also set up Boost Greet for server boosters, Leave Messages, and Join DMs.

ZEON's logging module tracks message edits/deletes, member joins/leaves, role changes, channel updates, voice state changes, and moderation actions. Set a log channel and enable the specific event types you want to monitor.

Autoresponders trigger automatic replies when specific keywords or phrases are detected. You can configure exact match or contains triggers, use embed responses with variables, and set cooldowns to prevent spam.

Use the reaction role module to create self-assignable roles via message reactions. ZEON supports multiple reaction role types: normal (toggle), unique (one role per message), and verify (one-time assignment).

Use the giveaway commands to start timed giveaways with customizable prizes, duration, winner count, and entry requirements (role-locked, level-locked). Winners are selected randomly and announced automatically.

Vanity Roles automatically assign a role to members who have your server's vanity URL in their status. Guild Tags do the same for members with a specific tag in their display name. Both encourage server promotion organically.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and solutions

Check the following in order: (1) ZEON has Read Messages and Send Messages permission in the channel. (2) You are using the correct prefix — use @ZEON prefix to check. (3) The command is not disabled in that channel or category. (4) ZEON's role is not below a deny-all permission override.

Discord enforces a strict role hierarchy. ZEON can only moderate users whose highest role is positioned below ZEON's highest role in Server Settings → Roles. Drag ZEON's role above the roles you need it to manage.

Whitelist the admin using the antinuke whitelist command. Make sure they are added before they perform bulk admin actions. You can also increase the action threshold for specific filters if trusted admins regularly perform bulk operations.

Use the settings reset command to restore all configurations to default. This clears custom prefixes, autoresponders, automod rules, welcome messages, and all other server-specific settings. This cannot be undone.
